Onions are rich in vitamins C, B1,  K, and B6, biotin, chromium, folic acid, calcium, sulfur, antioxidants and dietary fiber.

Onions promote health in many ways. They:

  • Slow free radical damage
  • Have antifungal and antibacterial properties
  • May lower blood sugar
  • Helps asthmatics
  • Have cardiovascular benefits
  • Support bone and connective tissue
  • Have anti-inflammatory properties
