Is Your Water Filter Too Extreme, Too Minimal, Or Just Right?

Tap water is littered with a host of chemicals and contaminants, some of which are regulated by the government to be there such as chlorine and fluoride even though they are proven to be unhealthy.

Alkaline Recipe: Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Yields 6 burgers

These tasty black bean veggie burgers are vegan, alkaline, and baked instead of fried. The challenge of  most homemade vegan veggie patties is getting them to stay together, but baking instead of frying helps alleviate that problem. These can be served “protein-style” with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun for maximum alkalinity.

Veggie Patties:

  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 zucchini
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Wrap and toppings:

  • 6 Large lettuce leaves for wrapping
  • 2 Avocados, sliced
  • 2 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Red onion, sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • Baby spinach leaves
  • Sprouts

Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Soak all produce in 8.0-8.5 pH Chanson ionized alkaline water for 10 minutes. Combine all patty ingredients in food processor and blend (may need to do in two batches depending on size of processor). Pour mixture onto greased cookie sheet into six patty-sized drops. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes carefully turning once with spatula. Arrange on lettuce leaves with remaining toppings and serve.

Natural Healing with Amazing Miracle Waters Found Around the Globe

3. Nordenau, Germany

A spring of very pure water was discovered in a cave in a disused slate mine at Nordenau. An old woman reported that after covering her blind eye with the water, she can now see; an ex-miner said his back was healed and he has thrown away his crutch, and another woman said, “I always had problems with high blood pressure and was afraid of collapsing. I went to the grotto with my blood pressure at 160/100. I came out with 130/100. Now the blood pressure is constant, a fact which my doctor cannot explain.”

4. Nadana, India

In Nadana village, water began gushing out of a deserted tube well in September 1992. Locals who bathed in the water reported that the “medicinal” and “magical” qualities of the well cured their skin diseases. How to Save Time and Money on Your Juicing & Smoothie-Making

Juicing and homemade green smoothies have become a global phenomenon, and a healthy daily routine in many households. And for good reason: they pack an abundance of minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients in each glass, and are a great way to start the day.

But as Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy says in the film Cancer is Curable NOW, “Juicing isn’t easy.” Unfortunately, daily juicing and cleanup can be quite messy and time consuming, and it’s not always easy to keep a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables on hand, or to consume all produce you do have before it goes bad or you get tired of it.

Green smoothies are slightly more forgiving since most blenders are quicker to clean than juicers, and smoothies can usually be poured in a glass instead of having to be shaken up in a container with a lid.

But while some people revert to quadrupling juicing and smoothie recipes and storing the leftovers in the fridge for a few days to save time, the truth is that fresh juice and smoothies need to be consumed within 8-12 hours for best results.

Our solution?

Freeze it.

The next time you juice or make a smoothie, try doubling the recipe and pouring the excess in ice cube trays (before adding Chanson water or non-dairy milk to dilute it). When frozen, transfer the cubes to a freezer-safe bag and label.

They’ll be ready for you the next time you are short on time and/or ingredients. Just pop 6-8 cubes in the blender along with some 9.5 Chanson alkaline ionized water for juices or unsweetened non-dairy milk for smoothies, blend, and you’re good to go!

This method works great for using produce that would otherwise go bad in the pantry, and being able to add seasonal ingredients to your juices and smoothies year-round.

The result will be rather slushy, and separation may occur which is why we recommend using a glass with straw or a container with a lid in order to stir or shake. If you’re really short on time you can just add the cubes as you would ice to flavor your Chanson water.

We recommend that you drink at least one juice or green smoothie a day, and enjoy them fresh whenever possible. And keep in mind that you can always add a combination of fresh juice or produce to your frozen cubes for variety.

Alkaline Recipe: Veggie Mexican Lasanga

Veggie Mexican Lasagna

Serves 6-8

Got an upcoming potluck or having people over for dinner? Try our crowd-pleasing Veggie Mexican Lasagna! It’s vegan!


  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 yellow crooked neck squash, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, chopped
  • 2 chives, chopped
  • 1 8 oz. can black beans
  • 1 large can red enchilada sauce
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 2 8 oz. cans black olives
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Guacamole to top (try mashing avocado, fresh lime juice, onion powder, pepper and seasoned salt together)

Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Soak all produce in 8.0-8.5 pH Chanson ionized alkaline water for 10 minutes.
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish, and line the bottom of the pan with one layer of six corn tortillas and set aside. Mix enchilada sauce, marinara sauce and cumin together in a large bowl. Add all other ingredients (including soaked and drained veggies) to a separate bowl (except guacamole, chives and green onions). Arrange a layer of veggie bean mix on top of the tortillas and cover with sauce. Top with tortillas and add another layer of veggies and sauce. Top with olives and bake (uncovered) for 45 minutes to an hour. Whip up a batch of guacamole towards the end of the cooking time. Add chives and fresh guacamole when the dish is out of the oven and serve.

7 Tips to Help You Stay Hydrated

Proper hydration is the key to a healthy body.

Not only does adequate water intake aid in disease prevention, improve appearance, and increase energy levels, but it also benefits things like our mental and physical performance and memory.

While parsley may not be your first choice to add to a smoothie, it’s packed with nutrients and this recipe helps to mask the taste. Trust us, we didn’t care for parsley either, but we love the taste of the Green Machine Smoothie.

Fun fact: Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is rumored to dislike parsley so much that she learned how to say “no parsley please” in some six languages!


  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 2 frozen bananas, peeled
  •  1 kiwi, peeled
  • 1 piece fresh pineapple (1″ thick)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2-4 oz. Chanson ionized alkaline water

Directions: Soak spinach and parsley in a bowl of8.0-8.5 pH Chanson ionized alkaline water for 10 minutes. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender (using fresh Chanson water – more for a thinner smoothie, less for a thicker one). Serve.
